When in Asia visiting theme cafes is a must do. Pick from themes like Hello Kitty, Monster, Charlie Brown, and various animals + tons more. I can't wait to go back just to see more cafes! We decided to stop in at the Raccoon Cafe to see what the hype was about - lets just say the hype is TOTLLY worth it.

2. toronto, canada
Hello from the 6! Toronto could easily be my next place of residence. With major adventures like Niagara Falls and food from just about every corner of the world, it's easy to see why it is such a favorite. The perfect mix for travel - a far out foreign country, where you can still read the menus and ask someone for directions ;)

Check off seeing one of the Seven Modern Wonders of the World by going up The CN Tower. Standing well over 550 meters off the ground will give you some of the best views of the Six and ocean side. And no trip to Toronto is complete without a trip to Sweet Jesus. This ice cream joint will blow your tastebuds with its decked out swirls and shakes.

Toronto can not hide from the amazing street art covering the city. You can read more on Graffiti Ally in a post here, but just know the art is something you have to see for yourself. I still wonder how they get all this detail on the top of huge buildings!

3. gent, belgium
Bonjour to Fairyland! The second I stepped out the car here in Gent - I felt like I was transported to an old European book. The Castles and buildings alone are enough to swoop you off your feet, so don't even get me started on the food. Gent is one of the most vegan friendly cities so you are sure to find a bite for every tastebud.

Besides amazing food - noting is sweeter than dessert in Gent. We got some of the most interesting and flavorful fresh Marzipan on the street from such a friendly guy - but what we really came for was the waffles. Belgium is know for Belgium Waffles & they a b s o l u t e l y live up to the talk. This was the best one I've has so far - you can easily find them on most street corners!

The Fairytale city would not be complete without a castle to wonder. The Castle of the Courts is open for a paid tour but the city view up top makes the journey worth it. How often do you get to explore an old lords castle?

4. nara, japan
Kon'nichiwa from Japan! While there may be about 1,000 reasons to go to Japan - seeing the deer at Nara Park top them all. This unreal opportunity to hang out, pet, and feed wild deer is only an experience found here. Unlike the States, deer cannot be hunted here making humans nothings but friends to Bambi!

Temples come by the handful in Japan making every new spot feel like a magical far out land. Most are free to explore, and others have small fees or donation bins. Be sure to see at lest one. When you visit the deer also buy a few crackers to share with them!

Besides the adorable deer running free, the park is a must see regardless. A true Japanese style of zen is felt throughout the park and its insane beauty. Make sure you stop and stare at the water - those water spiders were so freaky but I also couldn't look away HA!

5. amsterdam, netherlands
Oh yes, Amsterdam. Now this is probably already on the wish list - so I am just here to reinforce it - and maybe move it to the top :) The images painted in your head are spot on with the unreal canals and adorable waterfront houses. Oh, and biking here might as well be a religion so watch out!
If I could sum up my favorite part of Amsterdam in one word it would be, STROOPWAFFLE! I still dream of the Carmely delicious treat. Your life will not be complete until you've had one. You can find them on a street corner, cafe, or the donut at Dunkin' Donuts will suffice too :)

Like I mentioned bikes are a huge thing here so feel free to rent one to get around - or take the public tram! Driving is honestly just scary and parking is a nightmare, so save your self the stress! Make sure you check out the Red Light District, Museums, and the Amsterdam sign to get the full experience of this unique city.

Growing up I feel truly blessed getting to travel as much as I did.
